The Rangoli Story
The dream team, Amar and Ruby, husband and wife and business partners for life - embarked on their first venture together in 2005, when they seized the opportunity to start what thousands of retail customers all over the UK know as ‘Rangoli’.
The opening of these doors was exciting news on Alum Rock Road, and ever since, Rangoli has been delivering fashion-forward Indian and Pakistani jewellery at the most affordable price ranges. The unstoppable success of the first Rangoli was the trend setter that attracted individuals from all over the UK. Customers continue to vouch their loyalty over the growing years as they experience memorable services.
As the demand for trendy and bespoke jewellery increased, Amar and Ruby proudly expanded the product range, quantity and quality. In doing so, they set up ‘Rangoli 2’ in 2012. The spacious floor-plan and display gave both customers and staff more flexibility to select and try on designs. The community support lead to the take over of two more shops all on the same high-street in 2017 and 2018.
All of this would not have been possible without the strength, togetherness and hard work of the Rangoli family team which has been a constant since the first day in 2005. Rangoli would not be its colourful self without the team that most of you know so well; Nusrat, Nabila, Nadia, Fozia, Aisha and many more that you see on a daily basis. They are the core that bind the colours of Rangoli together.
